at job #2 (penguin putnam) right now. don't feel like being productive right now. thus, this blog.

my boss at job #1 (jeffrey leder inc.) offered me a real job for after graduation as a project manager. we haven't discussed details (compensation, benefits, etc.) yet, but i'm sure to be making a decent living. (whatever that means.) that is, IF i decide to take it, which i really doubt i'll do.

yes, the economy sucks and i should take what i can get, but do i really want this? it's basically the work i already do, except full time, with a little more responsibility, and probably only a slight raise from right now. i don't always like my boss (although we're getting along better nowadays). i don't really have any other coworkers (including me, we have a total of 3 employees and 1 intern). the work ethic is ridiculous (he comments if i'm 10 minutes late and i never see anyone really leaving for lunch). BUT how many recent college grads can start as a project manager?

so my conclusion for now is this: find out more details about the offer, put my cali job search in overdrive and give it a month or so to marinate. most decisions get made for me by my faith in fate, so let's see how this goes...
