i have been spending exorbitant amounts of money recently, but i have such cool new snowboarding gear -- cozy boots (THE BEST steal of a deal), new pants and awesome goggles. and that's just the gear... let's not even get started on the lift ticket expenses. man, have i pointed out how obsessed i am yet? vermont this weekend anyone?

in other events, i have two interns to call my very own. they're chicks, finally evening out the gender balance in my office. and uhm, that's about the only exciting thing to say about work.

and a happy birthday to my mother, who better not be reading this, but who is in my thoughts nonetheless.
