since it seems that everyone is now in a blogging frenzy, i might as well join the crowd. i want to update my site visuals, but my priorities lay elsewhere so i doubt that will ever happen.

i began painting my apartment last weekend. my bedroom is done and i LOVE it. (thanks elaine!) now i just need to finish furnishing and accessorizing that room. my living room on the other hand... eh. in fact, its quite a mess at the moment.

i tried this texturing effect which isn't so bad, but then i just learned yesterday that i did it all wrong and now i have to salvage my project. disastrous.

on another note, i've been dogsitting my coworker's sister's dog. her name is claire. she's a 7-month old maltese. this was my trial run to see if i could handle having a dog and, while the first 2 nights were rough, i really like having the company. i find that i talk to myself more when she's around. (yea, that means a whole lot of talking to myself.) anyway, now i want a dog.

work's busy. went to vegas last week for a psp conference. played a lot of poker (i love poker) and didn't win any of the cool prizes (60" projection tv, lcd tvs, psps, digital cameras, etc.) i'm going to LA the third week in may for E3. (heads up to you socal folks.) heard the parties are awesome and the event is exciting. should be some good times.

what other crap is there? my company's being bought. (just google Eidos and you'll read all the boring news.)... snowboarding season is over for me. i went last weekend but my ankle forced me to call it quits early. ... volleyball is next on my agenda and i hope i find a team i like. ...

and lastly, i'm planning a long vacation at the end of may. a cruise maybe or even somewhere international. not sure yet, but if you're interested in joining me, let me know.
