ok, i am such a hypocrite. three weeks ago i blog about the lack of blogs and then i follow that with three somewhat boring entries in a row (although you must admit the California video was cool). sorry folks.
so today i finally got around to catching up on my blog-reading and its nice to read some new entries and see some refreshed designs. (by the way, jeng, rich and jeff, you should really do the design off without me at this point. sorry guys.)
what has been keeping me away from my usual web meandering is this thing called work. before i started in the ad agency world, i had heard warnings about the number of hours this industry demands and it is no joke. recently, i've worked 50+ hours a week. 53, usually. sometimes i have conference calls at 8am and then again at 6:30pm. tomorrow i have a call with our India office at 7:30-8:30pm. sigh. and that is why i no longer have much time for anything anymore. shame. there may be an end in sight though. our campaign launches on april 2 and hopefully after that, i will be able to work normal people hours. at least for awhile, one hopes.
in other news:
- i've only been boarding twice this season since our weather has sucked. i'm going to denver this weekend though, so that should give me my much needed snow-fix for the winter.
- i'm still on the school track. i plan to do some campus visits in the spring/summer that will take me to chicago, the east coast and to europe. no cali schools on my radar yet.
- my friends have all been breaking up with their significant others, which leaves me playing counselor more often than i'm used to. i think breaking up is a january trend, from what i hear. tough times on the love front for my buddies. sad.
and that's the summary of my life to date. i should write something more meaningful and clever one of these days. or jump on the reminiscing bandwagon. but i took some work home that i should attend to. oh well. next time na lang.
