we've been talking about UGC (user-generated content) at work recently and a few of my coworkers shared their blogs. i thought, 'i have a blog too but hell no i'm not sharing it.' haha.

work catch phrases are really annoying, but you can't help using it sometimes. have you heard of lingo bingo? yea well, if we played it at my work (which we should), these are some of the words that would be there:
- integrated
- "in the loop"
- socialize
- "on the same page"
- "touch base"
- optimize/optimization

ugh work. i can't help but blog about it since it takes up so much of my life nowadays. as stressful as it is, i'm learning a lot. one of the senior members of the team gave me an awesome compliment the other day, saying i've been contributing a lot in such a short amount of time. she also said that i'm performing beyond my role and they will "reevaluate" our team when the campaign launches. i hope that means promotion. i really think i should replace my supervisor cuz frankly, she doesn't really supervise me at all. we'll see. i won't expect anything.

i think about what i do and its a little crazy. i'm working for one of the biggest companies in the world on a global ad campaign, launching in 12 countries and worth tens of millions of dollars. it is groundbreaking because the media spend is 60% online, which is unheard of in advertising. i handle solely online so its quite a handful to manage. my boss said it best, "you have charts coming out your ass." haha. eloquent, huh? this comes from a guy who emailed the client saying, "that's like skipping foreplay and going straight to rough sex."

anyway, i'm not showing off or anything, but its pretty cool to think about what i've accomplished in my 50+ hour workweeks. i'm excited to put this on my resume (not that i'm looking for a new job anytime soon).

10 days to launch. maybe after that i'll finally have some other subject on my mind worth blogging about.
