tis a slow summer on the blogger front, isn't it?

random trains of thought:
- we have summer fridays at work which means that each employee is entitled to 4 free friday PTO days in summer. i haven't taken mine yet, but this means that the office is pretty quiet on fridays. this also means that summer mondays really suck. i dont feel like doing anything.
- i've been reading a lot of articles lately about how employers now check social networking sites and blogs, etc. before hiring someone and how future politicians, etc. will need to be wary of what they post about themselves on the web. this just reminds me of all our rockstar summer pictures. should we be taking those down now that we're professional adults? haha.
- next week is fourth of july. its on a wednesday, which is really lame. i'm taking thursday and friday off and heading to vegas with 6 of my girls. should be fun. i'm thinking we should get a veil, a fake cubic zarconia and take turns pretending someone's getting hitched. hmm...
- i'm leaving for europe in just under 4 weeks. i'll be out and about for 3 weeks. i bet those 3 weeks are going to fly by. i very much need a vacation and i'm looking forward to it. although i'm going to be broke-ass poor upon my return.

anyway, i love summer.
