One. Booth. Cold.

One. That's what my school ranked in the latest Business Week poll. While some may say other publications rankings are more important, I still find it damn cool. I also wonder, how the f*** did I get in? Maybe that's why I joined the Admissions Committee so I can find others like me who work the system and get admitted.

Booth. That's the name of the alum that donated $300 million to University of Chicago GSB (Graduate School of Business) transforming it to the Booth School of Business. This is the second time a school has changed its name on me mid-enrollment. (At NYU, my school changed from the School of Education to the Steinhardt School of Education.) This is a big deal as all the administrators are going crazy changing all the signage, attire and nametags, all while making sure we stop saying "GSB" and instead say "Chicago Booth". Anyway, its different.

Cold. That's what I will be for the next six months. It was 17 degrees when I woke up yesterday with a wind chill that made it feel like 6 degrees. My eyeballs felt like they were going to freeze and fall out of my head. I've been told to wait until wind chill is below zero. I've also been told that it will be this way until May. WTF. Goodbye toes, I'll feel you again in May.
