i started looking around for jobs, just out of curiosity and maybe to get a head start. unfortunately, i faced the harsh reality that while my friends graduating from the NYU business school will be making upwards from $50k a year, i'll be lucky to make $30k. that crappy amount doesn't even pay for a year at nyu. ridiculous. i also faced the harsh reality that i could make more as a correctional officer or a truck driver. so, i've come to the conclusion that i'm going to get a license to drive a big rig. i'm sure it's cheaper than going back to school, anyway.
