i work in a small marketing design company as a production assistant/intern. because there are so few employees, i get to do a lot of fun work, but i also have some not-so-fun work, too. every other day i have to take out the trash and recyclables as well as some other housekeeping tasks. i've told people this and gotten nothing but hysterical laughter in response. why is it they get this image of me as a janitor? i never said anything about being a janitor. you don't see me going to work in a jumpsuit and bandanna. so wipe out that picture of those industrial sized buckets and rolling trash carts out of your clouded head. there ain't nothing wrong with taking out trash at work. so there.
