my summer has been totally uneventful, relatively speaking. no trips, no camping, no big quintessential summer events. its kind of a bummer, but i've had some good times nonetheless.

this past weekend was particularly fun. i hardly get any girl time around here since i usually only end up hanging out with boys. this weekend elaine was in town and we got some quality time together. saturday night was the most fun i've had in a long long time. i really needed that.

in other news, my job search is going really well. i have about 8 job leads at the moment -- some are more interesting than others, but its nice to feel wanted. interviews are taking up so much of my time now, i hardly have any motivation to actually work at work. horrible. hopefully i'll be able to blog about a new job pretty soon. keep your fingers crossed.
