For everyone's first triathlon, both Jeng and Team Sausage Stuffers did an awesome job. I think Jeng was pretty motivated by the cheers from his Team-in-Training-mates and all the family members that watched from the sidelines. He finished strong and never looked like he was losing steam. I think he's hooked since he just signed up for a half marathon on Oct 5 and then another triathlon in November. Pretty cool. But now I don't hear the end of him bugging me to join him. :P

On the other hand, Team Sausage Stuffers had a strong showing. Although Jeff was tempted to throw in the towel halfway through the swim, he finished (albeit begrudgingly). The cycling leg was taken up by my sister's coworker Ron and he made great time that put the team ahead of Jeng at the transition. My sister was the final leg and even with her injured leg, she was able to run 6 miles without any problem.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed watching the triathlon and encourage others to join in this fun sport. (Ahem... Mark, Rach, Rich, etc...) Maybe I'll jump on the bandwagon once this b-school thing is over.
