woohoo!! finally...the snow has arrived. and man, when it snows, it pours. (okay, maybe the cliche doesn't translate, but you get the point -- think: an inch an hour.)

ahhh, snow. i love it. its the one thing that makes winter worth waiting for.

i love the feeling of fresh snow as it sprinkles on your face (except when its flying horizontally and pelting me in the eye), the look of the dark, gray city blanketed with white, and most of all, i love being the very first to make footprints on untouched snow.

but being in the city, i rarely get to indulge in such pleasures. instead, i get to step in slush made brown by traffic and get sprinkled with salt as i walk past storefronts. but i won't whine or complain (for once).

snow is a beautiful thing that i'll miss dearly when i leave this coast. so i'm drinking it in (figuratively speaking, of course). now... who wants to go play in it with me???
