and now for my weekend update --

saw the yankees v. oakland game on friday night. after a 2 hour rain delay and probably a 20-degree drop in temperature, we watched a good game. yay yanks! then we headed to watch X2. so awesome. i agree, kelly hu is a hottie. i'd get with her.

at the crack of dawn saturday morning, ray and van arrived. we hit up breakfast at cozy's before snoozin for awhile at my place. met up with some peoples for filipino food, a street fair, and ben & jerrys. snoozed some more until we got ready for the senior formal. such good times at the formal. a drunken and much-too-talkative van, boob-baring justine, and passed-out bev. i was totally low-key and much too sober. but i had fun nonetheless. and i think my booty-shaking on the dance floor scared ray.

then sunday consisted of mass, a trip to the seaport for some broadway tickets and a beer, then a last-minute trip to jersey for mouth-watering arthur's steak. we watched beauty and the beast (my fourth musical in a week). i saw it already and fell asleep the whole first half. (whoops) but after downing a coffee at intermission, i was a trooper and stayed awake for the rest. then the weekend concluded with a trip to xando/cosi for s'mores. yumm.

van's still here and ray left this morning. (*sniff*) all in all, good times this weekend. time sure flew. it makes the weekend feel like a dream i just woke up from. now its back to reality and i have this damn paper to write and no motivation by which to write it.

side note: i lost my voice. from either the yankees game or from my allergies/cold. now i fluctuate between sounding like a 30-year-old man to sounding like a 6-year-old girl or not making a sound at all. everybody really enjoys me not being able to talk. oh boy, when i get my voice back, you won't hear the end of me. ha!
