as you may already know, yesterday was free cone day at ben & jerry's (a place high up there on the "eileen's top ice cream spots" list, only second to cold stone). and being the passionate ice cream fanatic that i am, i vowed to go as many times as there were flavors being offered (i think there were about 8-10). unfortunately, i only went three times. but hey, that's once more than last year.

yesterday i also went to see the show, cabaret. my third broadway musical in the past month. (i'm seeing la boheme tonight and possibly another one this weekend.) i must say, cabaret was not at all like i expected. its headliners are deborah gibson (known as debbie gibson in our teenybopper days) and neil patrick harris (fondly remembered as dr. doogie howser). the father from happy days is in it too, but i forgot his name. anyway, let's just say its far more perverted, homosexual then i'd expected. doogie sure has changed.
