first and foremost, congrats to mr. and mrs. styczynski! the first legitimite child in the "family". :) how exciting!
this weekend was tons of fun. i think one of the funnest that i've had in awhile. recap:
FRIDAY > we went to ariakes for part 1 of elaine's going away party. as expected, there is a whole lot of embarrassing pictures, mostly on dale's camera. very rated R for partial nudity... especially the lot from the bathroom. haha. and then there was the strange occurance of jero and jeng walking from ariyakes to bj's and coming back with pint glasses of beer and shots of petron. neither of which were supposed to be "to go". haha. i have no idea how we got home in one piece that night.
SATURDAY > during the day, jeng, brian and i lived vicariously through jero as he was de-virginized to the sport of snowboarding. not in the actual "on the slopes" sense yet but in the shopping sense. (almost as fun as the real thing.) very exciting.
in the evening, it was part 2 of elaine's going away party. i learned a great deal about wine from her uncle paul. (he's a winemaker.) and then we watched elaine's cotillion video. hahaha. that was such a blast from the past. from our kick-ass choreography (haha, choy) and rich's serenade to richie rojas (what happened to him?) and the whole front row of the court bursting into tears. good times. i can't believe that was six years ago.
after reminiscing, the girls headed out for a much-needed girls night out. it was the best ratio i've been out with in a LONG time -- NINE girls: elaine, kat, jennie, jecelyn, roxy, me, dale, and her cousin and girl friend, jecelyn. while it wasn't a drunken experience, it was still a ton of fun. lots of dancing on stages. i realize how much i like to dance when i can hold onto something (like rails perhaps). i think i was a go-go dancer in a former life. maybe its my calling and the career change i've been looking for? haha jk.
