hola otra vez. so i'm back online to email my parents (its cheaper than calling them). yesterday, sister and i went on a canopy tour... ziplining from tree to tree over the rainforest. then we slid down this long ass waterslide, had some lunch, and rode some horses down the mountain. i named mine "jorge the horse". sister didn't have very much luck with her horse. whereas, i think i was meant to be a cowgirl in a previous life.

after the stinky horses, we dipped ourselves in some mud and then rinsed off in some hot springs. then i rode jorge again. haha. ;) today we lay by the pool (again). i swear, i think i'm as roasted and toasted as i want to be. i think we're gonna try the nightlife in tamarindo tonight. tomorrow is nicaragua.

with the exception of a few older couples that we've toured with (there is this one cute set of old southern folks), sister and i have yet to meet anyone other than the locals. i do appreciate my new buncha costa rican friends... rafael, oscar, jhonny, leo and ricardo. haha... good times.

if you all want to know what its like here, just imagine the philippines but with everyone speaking spanish instead. and lotsa weird creatures flying around. i don't like those. oh and iguanas. there's a few at our hotel. sister named one of them bartholomew. but he's been missing recently. i hope we didn't eat him in our buffet dinner. yuck.

ok, i should be on my way now to mingle with some surfers. (surfing is big here. i think i'm gonna take me some lessons.) pura vida! hasta luego!
