i'm back in north america again, more ready to face the reality of living in cali than i was a week ago. oh, and more tan. i sure do love this tan.

i'll eventually post pictures (don't hold your breath though), but just an tidbit on another highlight of my trip -- surfing. haha. i took surfing lessons in supposedly the "best place to learn how to surf". i was able to hang ten (yay!), but not without inhaling about a gallon of salt water up my nose. (and i HATE salt water up my nose.) and oh yea, sustaining a few minor scrapes and a sprained hand. haha. my hand still hurts.

as fun as surfing was, i DEFINITELY prefer snowboarding. skateboarding is next on my "things to try" list though.

anyway, i'm back in the bay for a few weeks before i head back east again for a wedding and cuz i miss my ny friends already. things to do this week: volleyball @ citybeach, rollerblade, gym, catch up on movies, look for a job. i sure would love some company. ;) so holler at me norcalians!
